The Crossroads India

Economic growth, inequality, and digital transformation in India.

From the heights of Mumbai to the forgotten tribal lands, The Crossroads India moves across urban and rural landscapes shaped by uneven development. As India’s economy accelerates, the film traces how opportunity remains unevenly distributed, revealing the lived consequences of growth across vastly different communities.

Through stories centered on education, employment, and access, the documentary examines how long-standing social barriers—including gender, caste, and geography—continue to shape who benefits from economic change and who is left behind. As digital tools are increasingly promoted as a path forward, the film follows how those promises unfold on the ground, exposing tensions between innovation, access, and inequality in a rapidly transforming country.
